The dataset contains data obtained during research into the material removal process in precision milling of AZ91D magnesium alloy. The images were extracted from a recordings captured using a high-speed camera. Burrs measurements were performed using a digital microscope.
Dataset contain the source data presented in the scientific publication mentioned in the Related works.
The data were obtained within the framework of the project “Study on the chip formation process and the temperature reached in the cutting zone during precision milling of magnesium alloys” (grant no. 2023/49/N/ST8/01411) financed by National Science Center, Poland.
