Lublin University of Technology undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website, in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, and the Act of 19 July 2019 on ensuring accessibility for people with special needs. This accessibility statement applies to the rock.pollub.pl website.

Requests for accessibility and complaints procedures
Everybody has the right to request digital accessibility of this website or its elements. You may also request information to be made available in alternative methods of access. The request should include:

  • contact details of the requesting person,
  • indication of the website or website element involved,
  • indication of a convenient method of presenting information, if the requesting person reports the need to receive information in an alternative method of access.

The public entity should comply with the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform when it will be possible to comply with the request, with a deadline of no more than 2 months.
If our reaction to the request of assuring accessibility or an alternative method of access to information is not satisfactory, the requesting person may submit a complaint to the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights.

Architectural accessibility 

The Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (CINT) - The building of Centre for Innovation and Advanced Technology of Lublin University of Technology (“Rusty building”) - 36C Nadbystrzycka St., 20-618 Lublin

  1. There are designated parking spaces for the disabled near the main entrance.
  2. There is a fixed wheelchair ramp leading to the main entrance.
  3. Inside the building there are lifts and toilets adapted for people with disabilities.
  4. Floors of the corridors (on the 3rd floor) are marked with stripes and arrows in three different colours, in order to show the way to the most important rooms.
  5. There is a hearing loop available in the Lending Room (room 308), and a computer station equipped with devices for people with special needs.
