Abstract (PL)

„Rektor prof. dr hab. inż. Iwo Pollo – człowiek wielkiego serca i talentu” to druga wystawa z cyklu jubileuszowych ekspozycji przybliżających sylwetki wybitnych pracowników Politechniki Lubelskiej. Można było ją oglądać w Galerii Biblioteki PL w dniach 13.05 -21.06 2019 r., z okazji corocznych obchodów święta naszej Uczelni. Wystawa poświęcona została historii życia, licznym osiągnięciom oraz szerokim zainteresowaniom rektora prof. dr hab. inż. Iwo Pollo. Wernisaż otworzyli: Prorektor prof. dr hab.inż. Paweł Droździel oraz Dyrektor Biblioteki PL mgr Dorota Tkaczyk. W tematykę wystawy wprowadziła gości prof. dr hab. Justyna Jaroszyńska-Wolińska bliska współpracownica Rektora, a także współorganizatorka wystawy. Otwarciu wystawy, towarzyszyło spotkanie wspomnieniowe. Wśród zaproszonych gości znaleźli się m.in. żona rektora, jego współpracownicy i przyjaciele.

Abstract (EN)

“Rector Prof. Iwo Pollo, PhD, Eng. – a man of great heart and talent” is the second exhibition in a series of anniversary exhibitions showcasing the profiles of outstanding members of staff at the Lublin University of Technology. It was on display at the Lublin University of Technology Library Gallery from 13 May to 21 June 2019, to mark the annual celebrations of our University. The exhibition was dedicated to the life story, numerous achievements and wide-ranging interests of Rector Prof. Iwo Pollo, PhD, Eng. The opening ceremony was presided over by the Vice-Rector, Prof. Paweł Droździel, PhD, Eng., and the Director of the PL Library, Dorota Tkaczyk, MA. Prof. Justyna Jaroszyńska-Wolińska, a close colleague of the Rector and co-organiser of the exhibition, introduced the guests to the theme of the exhibition. The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by a commemorative gathering. Among the invited guests were, amongst others, the Rector’s wife, his colleagues and friends.
