Abstract (PL)

Problematyka rozprawy dotyczy opracowania nowoczesnych metod zapewniających ciągłość pracy wszystkich urządzeń pomocniczych trolejbusu podczas przejazdu przez izolowane, beznapięciowe odcinki sieci trakcyjnej. Przeprowadzone badania naukowe dowodzą tezy rozprawy, która przewiduje, że zapewnienie ciągłości pracy urządzeń pomocniczych trolejbusu podczas chwilowych przerw zasilania trakcyjnego jest możliwe dzięki zastosowaniu rozszerzonych algorytmów zarządzania pracą pokładowych podzespołów przetwarzania i magazynowania oraz rekonfiguracji topologii zasilania energią elektryczną podzespołów pojazdu. Tezę tą dowiedziono poprzez prace badawcze, na które składają się: szczegółowa ocena zasilania trolejbusu z sieci trakcyjnej, badania analityczne, analiza istoty zagrożeń, opracowanie rozwiązań systemowych zapewniających ciągłość działania trolejbusowych urządzeń pomocniczych, opracowanie modeli matematycznych o charakterze rozwiązań systemowych, opracowanie algorytmu sterowania układami zaimplementowanymi w środowisku MATLAB/Simulink, zaprojektowanie i uruchomienie stanowiska badawczego do przeprowadzenia badań przemysłowych, przeprowadzenie badań przemysłowych w rzeczywistych warunkach miejskich jazd testowych trolejbusu.

Abstract (EN)

The subject of the dissertation concerns the development of modern methods to ensure the continuity of operation of all auxiliary devices of a trolleybus while travelling through isolated, voltage-free sections of the traction network. The conducted scientific research proves the thesis of the dissertation, which predicts that ensuring the continuity of operation of trolleybus auxiliary devices during temporary traction power supply interruptions is possible thanks to the use of extended algorithms for managing the operation of on-board processing and storage subassemblies and reconfiguration of the topology of supplying electric energy to those subassemblies. This thesis has been proven through research work, which consists of: a detailed assessment of the trolleybus power supply from the catenary, analytical research, analysis of the essence of threats, development of system solutions ensuring the continuity of operation of trolleybus auxiliary devices, development of mathematical models of the nature of system solutions, development of an algorithm for controlling the systems implemented in the MATLAB/Simulink environment, designing and launching a test stand to conduct industrial tests, conducting such tests in real conditions of urban trolleybus test drives. As a result of the above-mentioned research works, analysis of results and their evaluation, the correctness of the thesis was proved. Three proprietary algorithms have been developed that can ensure continuous operation of the trolleybus. The first one is a mathematical model of a trolleybus and an algorithm for induction control of a traction motor, using the DTC-SVM method, aimed at providing power to trolleybus auxiliary systems by using energy from electrodynamic braking. The second and third models, together with control algorithms and changes in the topology of electrical circuits, lead to the use of autonomous energy sources such as supercapacitors and traction batteries. The correctness of the thesis has been proven by model and industrial tests. Based on the obtained results, solutions having a significant impact on the development of the electromobility sector in the field of trolleybus electrical systems and their equipment were developed. The innovativeness of the solutions has been confirmed by patented inventions, awarded with medals at national and international competitions, as well as industrial implementation.
