Z rozmowy wyłania się obraz Erasmusa jako kluczowego elementu w „biografii” nowoczesnego naukowca. Według prof. Dudzińskiej, otwartość na inne kultury pracy i standardy badawcze jest niezbędna do osiągnięcia sukcesu w globalnym świecie nauki, a same wyjazdy są często impulsem do odważniejszych działań w sferze zawodowej.
