Abstract (PL)

W celu porównania wyników badań numerycznych z wynikami badań laboratoryjnych zmodernizowano laboratoryjne stanowisko do przeprowadzania badań odkształceń próbek kształtowych w procesie modelowego wytłaczania (PMW). Dodatkowo w rozdziale piątym przedstawiono wybrane wyniki badań sił tarcia ślizgowego oraz pokazano rezultaty badań numerycznych i laboratoryjnych gdzie zestawiono je w postaci charakterystyk. W pracy sformułowano szereg wniosków o charakterze poznawczym oraz praktycznym w formie wytycznych do projektowania i przeprowadzania symulacji komputerowych z wykorzystaniem Metody Elementów Skończonych.

Abstract (EN)

In the part of the thesis on the literature review, the methods of testing frictional resistance in selected plastic working processes are classified. On this basis, theoretical and experimental methods of friction resistance evaluation were presented and discussed, with particular emphasis on the use of the Finite Element Method. The geometrical models used for the analysis of contact, physicochemical and surface geometry phenomena for numerical simulation of sliding friction and kinematic analysis of friction junction models in the process of sheet metal extrusion are also discussed. The numerical methods used to simulate manufacturing processes with the use of the Finite Element Method are also characterized. On the basis of the literature analysis, conclusions were defined and tasks related to the implementation of the given topic of work were defined. In the part of the thesis on own research, geometrical models of tools and samples were developed to determine the friction nodes of a sliding nature. The third chapter of the thesis describes the operating principle of the proprietary computer program called the "fourth FEM module". Five calculation methods have been presented and described, allowing to assess the sensitivity of the tribological models adopted for testing to changes in the initial parameters. Numerical analyzes of the sliding friction phenomenon under plastic deformation conditions were carried out for the sets of sample models and tools, as described in chapter four. In order to compare the results of numerical tests with the results of laboratory tests, the laboratory stand for testing deformation of shaped samples in the process of model extrusion (PMW) was modernized. The process of shaping the plastic material was considered as a tribological system in which the material and the tool were a friction pair. The analysis of the model extrusion process (PMW) was performed based on o numerical simulations with the Finite Element Method using Deform 3D and Abaqus programs. Additionally, the fifth chapter presents selected results of the sliding friction force tests and presents the results of numerical and laboratory tests, where they are presented in the form of characteristics. The results of numerical and laboratory tests were examined statistically. The statistical calculations and calculations of the proprietary computer program show that the correct agreement was obtained between the results of numerical tests and the results of laboratory experiments. On the basis of the literature analysis and the results of laboratory and numerical tests, the sixth chapter describes conclusions concerning the assessment of the influence of the initial conditions on the sliding friction resistances occurring in the considered material shaping system. The use of numerical research algorithms and a proprietary computer program allowed for the adopted research methods to obtain the results of friction forces with a high approximation. The reason for this was, among others, the use of parallel and reverse tests already at the stage of determining the boundary conditions. The paper formulates a number of cognitive and practical conclusions in the form of guidelines for the design and performance of computer simulations using the Finite Element Method.
