Monografia podejmuje problematykę doboru pojazdu pożarniczego dla jednostki Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej. Zagadnienie sprawia duży problem strażakom ochotnikom w sytuacji zakupu pojazdów na potrzeby jednostki. Proces doboru pojazdu jest dość skomplikowany i nie występują określone normy prawne wskazujące dokładnie, jaki pojazd należy nabyć. W pierwszych rozdziałach autor nawiązuje do rysu historycznego pojazdów pożarniczych na ziemiach polskich. Kolejne rozdziały wprowadzają w zagadnienie przepisów i norm prawnych regulujących podział, budowę i wyposażenie pojazdów pożarniczych w kraju. Następnie omawiane są wymagania szczegółowe jakie powinien spełniać samochód dla straży pożarnej. Podczas opisu badań autor przedstawił analizę dokumentów, ankietę badającą opinię na temat eksploatacji pojazdów w jednostkach OSP oraz kwestionariusz wywiadu z kierownictwem PSP sprawującym nadzór nad ochroną przeciwpożarową na terenie danego powiatu. Badania zostały przeprowadzone II i III kwartale 2016 r. wśród 61 pojazdów OSP oraz 10 PSP z dwunastu powiatów województwa lubelskiego. Wyniki badań omówiono w rozdziałach 7, 8 i 9. Rozdziały 10 i 11 stanowią próbę określenia łatwego sposobu doboru odpowiedniego pojazdu pożarniczego dla jednostki OSP. Przechodząc kolejno wszystkie zaproponowane przez autora etapy i parametry, na koniec uzyskujemy spójny wykaz elementów zamawianego pojazdu. Zastosowanie arkusza kalkulacyjnego dodatkowo umożliwia wydrukowanie zestawienia parametrów pojazdu i przedłożenie tych wyników osobie przeprowadzającej zamówienie. W ostatniej części monografii autor przybliżył zagadnienie możliwości wykorzystania pojazdów pożarniczych sprowadzanych spoza terytorium RP. Po przeanalizowaniu całości materiału oraz rozmów z członkami jednostek Ochotniczych Straży Pożarnych nasuwa się wiele wniosków, które zostały zaprezentowane w rozdziale 12. Pracę kończy przedstawianie bibliografii.
The monograph deals with the selection of a fire vehicle for the Volunteer Fire Department. The task is a big problem for volunteer firefighters when purchasing vehicles for the unit’s needs. The process of selecting a vehicle is quite complicated and there are no specific legal standards indicating exactly which vehicle should be purchased. In the first chapters, the author refers to the historical outline of firefighting vehicles in Poland. The following chapters introduce the issue of legal regulations and norms regulating the division, construction and equipment of fire vehicles in the country. Then, detailed requirements to be met by a fire brigade truck are discussed. During the description of the research, the author presented an analysis of documents, a questionnaire examining the opinion on the use of vehicles in TSO units and an interview questionnaire with the management of the State Fire Service supervising fire protection in a given poviat. The research was carried out in Q2 and Q3 2016 among 61 VFS vehicles and 10 FSD vehicles from twelve poviats of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. The research results are discussed in Chapters 7, 8 and 9. Chapters 10 and 11 are an attempt to define an easy way to select a suitable fire vehicle for the VFS unit. By going through all the stages and parameters proposed by the author, we finally get a consistent list of the elements of the ordered vehicle. The use of a spreadsheet additionally allows you to print a list of vehicle parameters and submit these results to the person carrying out the order. In the last part of the monograph, the author presented the issue of the possibility of using fire-fighting vehicles imported from outside the territory of the Republic of Poland. After analyzing the entire material and talking to members of the Volunteer Fire Brigades, many conclusions arise, which were presented in Chapter 12. The work ends with the presentation of the bibliography.
